About Me

Hello ya'll,

I am so glad you took some time to visit my blog and learn a little bit about me!
The very first book I remember reading and enjoying was an American girl book about Samantha. I read it in thirty minutes and was hooked on seeing how fast could read! That quickly changed into a love of reading, which grew as I learned about my country's history and discovering how I could visit a different time period just by slipping into the pages of a book. My heart beats strong for my country's heritage, and I feel as though the stories of people just like you and I, that helped make America, are fading with each passing year. I hope to bring those stories back and help people fall in love with their country, and it's people all over again. I write historical fiction with a little romance woven into the story and enjoy creating a story that sticks with you. I attempted to write my first book when I was ten years old and quickly moved onto another project, which led to over twenty books that I have not completed. When the Lord brought 2 Corinthians 8:10-12 to my attention, I knew I had to finish the book I was working on. I have finished a complete manuscript and am in working progress of getting it ready to send to agents! I have wonderful ladies in my life that are experienced in the publishing and writing industry and is going to help me. I believe writing is a calling, and it is what I have been called to do.
I am eighteen, the oldest of ten children, and I live in the wonderful state of Georgia. If you don't see me reading or writing, you can find me talking about football, hunting, attempting to make my sister's laugh, or singing to the top of my lungs while I go about my tasks of the day.
I am a fervent believer that I was born after my time, but am choosing to be content just reading about different time periods:) I am a southern girl, and my roots run deep in south GA. I love porch swings, big trees, wildflowers, and the smell of fresh air! I am addicted to reading, and if I were starving, I would buy a book before I bought food...
I hope to be a blessing and an encouragement to all who pass by and I pray my writing will inspire, and point you to the God that made it possible!

God bless!
